Wij zijn Yvette en Peter, de trotse eigenaars van: Louwik, Lenore, Owen, Omarie, Rosie & Storm.
Sinds de komst van Lenore zijn we een partnership aangegaan met de Bouvier kennel Belordeal uit Bekkevoort, waar Lenore en Omarie gehuisvest zijn. Owen behoort ook toe aan het partnership maar woont bij ons in Tessenderlo in. De reden voor de scheiding van de honden (geslachten) is louter om de rust te bewaren.
Mijn allereerste ervaring met een Bouvier was toen ik mijn vrouw Yvette leerde kennen, bij haar thuis hadden ze een Bouvier genaamd Tosca. Ik had het toen niet zo begrepenop grote honden en was er dus niet echt mee vertrouwd.
Dat veranderde echter zeer snel Tosca was een zeer lieve hond en werd mijn maatje. Ik leerde dus mijn vrouw kennen en had er meteen een leuk hondenras erbij, 2 vliegen in één klap!
Daarna ging het allemaal heel snel, intussen zijn we getrouwd en hebben we zelf ook een aantal Bouviers gehad waaronder: Estah, Louwik, Lenore en nu ook Owen en Omarie. Helaas hebben we van een aantal honden moeten afscheid nemen waaronder: Kimba, Lennox en Hero. Zij hebben een speciaal plaatsje in ons hart en vergeten ze dus niet op onze website.
Naast de liefde en vriendschap die we krijgen en geven aan onze trouwe viervoeters proberen we uit een nestje pups een paar mooie Bouviers te halen om het mooie weer te maken op nationale en internationale hondenshows.
We staan er om bekend om de concurrentie nooit uit de weg te gaan, ons motto is dan ook:
Dit heeft zich al vertaald in een aantal zeer grote titels, zo werden we kampioen van: de wereld, Nederland, Duitsland, België, Denemarken, Luxemburg. We werden ook internationaal kampioen.
Het hoogtepunt was Parijs 2011 met Hero von Gewdraa Oel. Daar waren 62 deelnemers uit de hele wereld maar het was Hero die werd verkozen tot beste Bouvier van wereld, een titel waar elke Bouvier liefhebber of fokker toch wel fier op kan, mag en zal zijn.
Deze prestatie leverde meteen wereldwijde bekendheid op, deze titel heeft ons duidelijk op de kaart gezet .
Inmiddels zijn we ons eigen trimsalon voor Bouvier des Flandres gestart, enkel en alleen voor bouviers. Ik heb het vak geleerd bij Cor van Osch van de Elco hoeve en bij Albert de Zwaan van Soeranda's home
We are Yvette and Peter, the proud owners of Owen & Rosie, Estah, Hero, Louwik and Lennox.
In December 2008 we started the creation of a website with the intention to share our hobby and passion with other dog loving people.
On this website you can find pictures and information about our four male Bouvier des Flandres. In the meanwhile, Estah and Hero have grown into two big guys. As for Juli 2012 we have a new pup with the name Louwik and now Lennox has joined us. Our dogs who passed away have also received some space on this website because they still have a big place in our hearts.Have fun visiting our website.
Right after our first Bouvier Kimba had passed away in 2005 it was clear that we were Bouvier lovers for the rest of our lifes. Pretty soon we started our search for the successor of Kimba.
Our final choice was "Von Gewdraa oel" where we bought Estah. We looked for an appropriate dog school for Estah and the instructors noticed that Estah was competent to participate in the IPO program. I was fully convinced as soon as I knew what this program stands for. This is how Estah started with GHP at the age of 6 months. We were lucky to have extremely qualified instructors and decoy workers. Thanks to the intensive trainings with them Estah became successful.
Because of several remarks on Estah's striking appearence, we participated for the first time in a little show without C.A.C.’s in December 2006. Estah won immediately in the youth class. Little by little we got the taste of it and at this moment we’re still doing shows! In the meantime, Estah achieved his IPO 3 with associated C.A.C.'s on show and he became Belgian beauty champion 2008. We are enormeously proud of our ragamuffin.
As soon as our second doggy, a West Highland White Terriër, had passed away, we decided to look for a new buddy for Estah. We bought Hero and now we have two ragamuffins in our house. As from now, Hero will train together with Estah in the IPO program. We hope to achieve also beautiful results with him. Should he not succeed, no problem for us, but at least it looks very promising!
My goal is to achieve the Belgian Champion’s title with our Bouviers. I want to present impressive dogs at show and I want to prove that they work very hard.
In order to achieve a Belgian title, the dogs need to get a IPO 1 on level C.A.C., a C.Q.N. or I.W.R. Our dog Estah, who obtained the caracter test as well as the C.Q.N. and the IPO 3, became Belgian champion in August 2008 after a constructive training of 2,5 years. Our strength on training as well as on show is enthusiasm, fun and perseverance. We work with Bouvier des Flandres because we love to and especially because we like the breed.
